Working with Nicholas Macias and his team at IGN, we illustrated a set of avatars used throughout IGN’s 2015 San Diego Comic-Con editorial coverage. For the 8 “personality” avatars, we focused most on capturing a likeness while maintaining a style that allowed for modularity when paired with the masks. For the 20 masks, we represented the wide variety of properties and media being shown at Comic-Con, everything from Star Wars to Doctor Who.
